Delaware County Sheriff George Sheridan is pleased to announce that a $10,000.00 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible for the death of Delaware County resident, Garth Rector. This reward is being offered through the fund raising efforts of Mr. Rector's family, the Delaware County Sheriff's Office and concerned citizens of our community.

     On March 21, 2008 Mr. Rector was killed at his home at 204 E County Road 500 South in the Cowan area. The attack occurred between the hours of 2:45 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. County Road 500 South is near Center Road.  A smaller silver or white car and a black car were seen in the area during this time frame.
